Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
Know and access. Ask what personal information we have about you and get a copy of it.
Correct. Ask us to fix information that is wrong.
Delete. Ask us to delete the personal information we hold about you, subject to records we must keep by law.
Opt out of sharing. Tell us not to share your information with participating attorneys or other advertising partners going forward.
No retaliation. We will never treat you worse for using any of these rights.
A plain note about how sharing works here
We share your information with participating attorneys only in connection with your request to be connected with one. Those attorneys pay us advertising fees. If you do not want your information shared, or you want to withdraw a request you already made, use the form below and say so. We will honor it going forward.
How to make a request
Send your request through the free case evaluation form. Include your first and last name, the phone number you used when you contacted us, and which right you want to use (access, correction, deletion, or opt out of sharing). You can also write to us at [NEEDS MAILING ADDRESS]. We do not publish an email address; the form reaches us fastest.
Stopping calls and texts
To stop text messages, reply STOP to any text from us. To stop calls, tell the caller or send a request through the free case evaluation form. This takes effect regardless of any other request on this page.
How we verify your request
To protect you, we match the name and phone number in your request against our records before acting on it. We may ask one or two follow-up questions if the match is unclear. We only use that information to verify and complete your request.
Authorized agents
Someone else can make a request for you if they can show they are authorized to act on your behalf. We may still verify your identity directly with you.
When we respond
We confirm that we received your request within 10 business days and generally complete it within 45 days. If we need more time, we will tell you why and when to expect an answer. If we deny any part of a request, we will explain the reason.
